We need financial support and manpower to achieve our goals and fight overpopulation in our area. Fill out our membership form located on this website and send it with a check made out to TCHS. All donations are tax deductible and go toward spay/neuter assistance, or our foster program. We are a 501(c) nonprofit charitable organization.
We sincerely appreciate your financial support; however, the Board

Be a responsible pet owner
The more people who spay and neuter their pets will cut down on the number of animals euthanized in our shelter each year.
Also, purchasing dog tags and having them on your pet's collar will keep your pet from being deemed a stray and to be put down at the local shelter.

Adopt....Don't buy.
There are many animals looking for homes. Check your local shelter and veterinary offices. Then check out our animals in foster care.

Become a foster parent.
Many animals in shelters could be saved if there were enough people
to care for them while a home is being found. TCHS pays all
approved vet bills. All you do is provide a loving home. If
interested, contact Suzanne Collins at 728-3738, scollins45@yahoo.com
or complete the Foster Parent Application and mail to Twin County
Humane Society, P.O. Box 125, Hillsville, VA 24343. Foster homes
for medium and large animals are needed.
